Facebook Tells Moms To Put Their Breast Away
September 27th, 2007 Posted in Facebook Stuff, Facebook News | 2 Comments »When did something so natural become something “obscene”. If you’re not aware, recently Facebook has been pulling a MySpace and not allowing Facebook users to post pictures of moms breastfeeding their children. The pictures have been reported as “obscene” and thus removed by the social utility giant.
I don’t know everything, but I do know one thing with 100% certainty — you can’t win a fight with a women, especially moms when they come together for a cause. Women are powerful! Don’t believe me? Look how fast these angry breastfeeding mother’s have come together to petition Facebook’s uncanny attempt to censor us from babies eating - naturally!
In 30 days the “Hey, Facebook, breastfeeding is not obscene! (Official petition to Facebook)” has grown from 6,000 members to a whopping 24,619 members. That’s is a ton of angry lactating mothers! I definitely would not mess with them!
If you want to help support their cause join their group and help them petition Facebook to stop being such a prude! Join the Official petition on Facebook here
